Bridget Mulvey – BHlthSc (Nursing), MMH, (Child and Adolescent)

Bridget Mulvey is a Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Bridget has had experience in a range of eating disorders treatment settings from inpatient, day program and outpatient, including the tertiary services at The Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and The Peter Beumont Eating Disorder Service at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Bridget is passionate about working with people with eating disorders; she has extensive experience in assessment of eating disorders, providing psychoeducation, meal support therapy, supportive counselling and treatment planning with an awareness to the medical and psychological risk associated with eating disorders and malnutrition. Bridget provides person centred, holistic and individualised care, she utilizes a strengths based and collaborative approach with patients and when required, will work with parents, partners and carers to support them as they care for their loved ones.

Bridget coordinated the NSW Eating Disorders Outreach Service for 5 years; providing eating disorder clinical consultation, support and training to clinicians across NSW and she is currently training clinical teams alongside the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders. Bridget has a Master of Child and Adolescent Mental Health and has had training in the treatment modalities of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Maudsley Family Based Treatment, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management and Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which inform her clinical practice.

Sharonne Symonds APD, AN – BSc (Honours, Nutrition & Dietetics) BApSc (Exercise Science)

Sharonne, is an accredited Dietitian-Nutritionist, serving the Sydney community since 2014. She has worked as a dietitian at Northside Group, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Westmead Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Google. Exposure to a wide range of dietetics has a powerful influence on many aspects of her nutrition care.

In recent years she has focused on providing support and dietary management for individuals with Eating Disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and Binge Eating Disorders. Sharonne has overseen nutritional care of inpatients and facilitated the Northside Eating Disorder Day Program. She believes in changing eating patterns for positive and sustainable health outcomes.

 

The main force behind her practice is a deep desire to help individuals achieve physical re-nourishment and restoration of normalised eating behaviours for long-term health. Through comprehensive and individualised sessions, clients receive structure, education and therapeutic support to encourage a return to normal/healthy nutritional intake and eating behaviours.

 

Rebecca Levi - Accredited Practising Dietitian - BNUTDIET (Hons)

Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who will be commencing at Tikvah Clinic in January 2022. She holds a passion for supporting people to improve their relationship with food, body, and health in a way that is meaningful to them.

Completing her Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics, with Honours, at the University of Wollongong in 2015, Rebecca has taken her own journey to explore a meaningful way to practice as a Dietitian, finding herself in Private Practice. She identifies best as a Health at Every Size (HAES®) Dietitian who takes a whole person approach that is trauma informed and weight neutral. With ongoing supervision and professional development, she works to empower clients to live a healthful life, believing that good nutritional care should be inclusive and delivered in a compassionate and holistic way.

Rebecca has a special interest in food and body image concerns, including disordered eating, eating disorders, food and mental health, chronic dieting/weight cycle, emotional eating; and supports clients living with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and other specified feeding and eating disorder (OSFED).
