Dr Dania Nathanson

Dania is a consultant paediatrician with a special interest in caring for children and adolescents up to the age of 17 years with eating disorders. Taking a child and family centred approach to her work, she believes that children and young people do best when they are cared for and managed within the context of their families.  A child cannot be seen in isolation as they exist within a family and within a social and cultural context, all of which impact on their experience of health, and importantly on their response to treatment.

Supporting evidence based treatments for children and young people with eating disorders, she works collaboratively with the other therapists and health professionals in a patient’s treating team to optimise the journey towards recovery. 

Dania is able to provide medical monitoring and support for children and adolescents with eating disorders, eating disorder management plans, and scheduled reviews.
