Jennifer (B.A.Hons, M.A. Applied Psychotherapy & Counselling)

 Jennifer (Jen) is an experienced clinical psychotherapist, couple counsellor, and energetic healer. Jen is passionate about supporting individuals to navigate the complex terrain of eating disorders, trauma, and attachment issues. With over 19 years of experience, her work draws on a compassionate, non-pathologising approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. She specialises in helping clients gently uncover and heal the deeper emotional roots that often fuel intense behaviours.

 In her work, Jen uses evidence-based therapies including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), alongside energetic practices. She offers a deeply personalised, trauma-informed approach that meets clients where they are.

 Jen recognises the stress and complexity that couples and families experience whilst supporting a loved one’s recovery. For this reason, Jen provides counselling for parents and caregivers, integrating Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These sessions offer a space to process the challenges while learning practical, compassionate strategies to increase understanding and connection.

 Jen holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling, along with a Diploma in Energetic Health. She is a certified Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner and serves as a Program Assistant in IFS trainings. Jen is also a fully qualified EMDR therapist and has trained in Group Leadership and Facilitation through The Australian Institute of Counselling in Addictions. She has also completed her Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, expanding her capacity to support clients through a wide range of healing modalities.

 Alongside her clinical work, Jen is the author of Heal Your Anxious Attachment and the host of the Psychotherapy Central Podcast, where she shares insights on love, trauma, and healing. She’s a Director of the International Energetic Healing Association (IEHA), an Ambassador for A Sound Life charity and The Embody Lab. Jen’s joy is being a mum to two beautiful teenagers, a wife, daughter, sister, friend, and nature lover. She is lucky enough to do work that is her calling and vocation. She’s truly honored to support you and your loved ones on the path to lasting change.
