Steph is a provisionally registered psychologist who has worked in the field of eating disorders since 2016. She is committed to delivering effective and evidence-based treatment and improving outcomes for people with eating disorders and their families. Steph is motivated to help others after recovering from a long battle with anorexia nervosa.
Steph also works for the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders, a collaboration between NSW Health and Sydney University, as a clinical and research projects officer. In this role she is involved in clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness of innovative eating disorder therapies.
In a previous life, Steph worked as a multi-platform reporter/producer at the ABC and triple j.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (USYD) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Psychology Honours I) (USYD). She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management.
