Haley is a registered provisional psychologist who has worked within the field of eating disorders for 4 years, across both research and clinical practice. She is committed to translating and applying effective evidence-based treatments to improve outcomes of those living with an eating disorder.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is trained in Family Based Therapy (FBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM).

She also works as a Clinical Research Officer at the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders, in a collaboration between the University of Sydney and the Sydney Local Health District. This role sees her working primarily on research trials for young people presenting with Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), and Anorexia Nervosa (AN), as both a researcher and clinician.
Her previous background is in Secondary Education (Bachelor Secondary Education (PDHPE), Business and Organisational Management within tertiary and mental health settings

She is passionate about improving access to specialised mental health services for those living with an eating disorder and their carers and family members. She is particularly committed to understanding the connection between neurodivergence and eating disorders and supporting those identifying as LGBTQIA+.
